ESBK Round 1 Barcelona PreMoto3 Race 1

April 7, 2024
Kensei starts from P14, and quickly makes his way forward. He gets to the front of the second group and pushes to catch the race leaders, eventually bringing the gap down to less than 2 seconds. He finally crosses the finish line in P5 leading the second group, 3.5 seconds behind the winner. Lap 3 of the race has good video coverage of Kensei in the race.

ESBK Round 7 Barcelona Moto4 Race 2

November 19, 2023
Kensei starts from P4 after missing the podium on Saturday by 0.01 seconds. Kensei quickly gets into the top 3 on the lead lap, but the race is red flagged due to multiple incidents on track. The race was restarted, but this time in turn 2 of the first lap Kensei suffered a highside which put him out of the race with a DNF. Fortunately Kensei walked away from the incident without injury.

ESBK Round 6 Jerez Moto4 Race 2

October 15, 2023
Kensei starts in P8, moves quickly into the top 5 and takes the lead by mid-race. He leads across the start/finish on lap 7, is fighting for a win/podium until an incident in turn 6 on the final lap. Kensei is hit by another rider due to contact and a crash from behind and pushed wide, falling to 20th position. Coming back immediately, Kensei makesseveral passes in the remaining corners and takes the checkered flag in 16th position, 2.1 seconds behind the winner.

ESBK Round 5 Navarra Moto4 Race 2

September 17, 2023
Kensei starts in P11, but early in the first lap he goes off the track to avoid a collision with a rider and drops back 7-8 seconds behind the leader into the 3rd group. From there, he charges forward and catches the 2nd group, passes everyone in the 2nd group, and catches the top group. He starts moving forward and enters the final corner in P9, but loses two positions to the finish to take the checker in P11, 1.8 seconds behind the winner. Kensei has the 2nd fastest lap time in the race and the weekend.

Yamaha R3 bLU cRU Thailand Race 2

July 30, 2023
Kensei starts from P6 on the grid and despite nursing a bruised right hand from being taken out in Race 1 the previous day, immediately breaks away in the 4-rider top group with the 3 Japanese wildcard riders. He takes the lead several times but takes the checkered flag in 4th, 0.2 seconds behind the winner.

ESBK Round 4 Estoril Moto4 Race 2

June 11, 2023
Kensei starts in P6, and engages in a race-long battle at the top with non-stop passing and contact. In the end, it's a photo finish with Kensei taking 5th, just 0.1 seconds behind the winner.

ESBK Round 3 Valencia Moto4 Race 2

May 14, 2023
Kensei starts on the front row in P2 after taking a podium in Race 1. After the start, Kensei gets swallowed up in turn 1 and loses touch with the front group after the first lap. Fighting his way through the 2nd group and eventually breaking out of it, he makes a charge in the final 3 laps of the race to catch the top group, setting the fastest lap of the race and the entire weekend in the process. He finishes 7th after catching the top group and starting to move forward, just 0.5 seconds behind the race winner.

ESBK Round 2 Aragon Moto4 Race 2

April 16, 2023
Kensei starts from P4 after missing the podium on Saturday by just 0.1 seconds. Kensei again fights at the very front of the race, leading many times and finally crosses the finish line in 2nd in a photo finish, 0.04 seconds behind the winner.
